Small vintage Senufo stool, hand-carved from a single solid piece of wood in the traditional West African form. The thick seat is gently dished with rounded corners and hand-hewn edges, standing on four chunky tapered legs with a faceted, adze-textured surface. Rich dark patina with lighter wear on the seat from years of use — a warm, rustic, boho presence.
At this size it makes an ideal plant stand, a display riser for a favorite object, or a small low stool. Solid and sturdy, with the honest wear and variation you want in a hand-carved piece.
