Rare extra long slat bench by Mel Smilow — six feet of solid walnut slats on six tapered legs. The long slatted top is finger-jointed at the ends (visible in the detail photos), and the whole piece has the warm, deep-toned walnut finish Smilow's shop was known for. Works as a bench, a low coffee table, or an entryway / foot-of-bed piece.

Designed by Mel Smilow. Solid walnut slatted top with finger-jointed ends. Six tapered round legs. Extra long 72 inch size — the hard-to-find length. Measures 72"L x 18"W x 14"H.

Condition: very good vintage condition. The finish is rich and even across the top; close inspection shows light wear inside the slat grooves consistent with age, documented in the detail photos. Please review all photos for details.
