Pair of vintage cabinets designed by Michael Taylor for Baker Furniture's Far East Collection. The vibrant yellow lacquer finish and brass hardware blend Asian influence with mid century modern design — the chinoiserie look Michael Taylor was known for. A Baker Furniture maker's plaque is present (see photos).
Use the pair as nightstands, end tables, or accent cabinets — real storage with a strong design presence. They pair well with mid century modern, Hollywood Regency, Asian modern, walnut, teak, brass, and minimalist interiors.
